Farid in a stern mood, giving a reality check about the state of the unrealized soul…
She’s not allowed to enter her in-laws’ house,
There’s no place for her at her parents’.
Her Husband never asks after her –
And she says, Farid, that she’s happily married?
When young she didn’t experience pleasure
With her Husband;
When old, she died.
Now she’s in her grave, Farid,
Wailing “I never even met you, Lord!”
“saahurai Dho’ee na lahai, fareedaa~ nandhee kant na raavi”
